Not sure what you mean. you will want to wake up before you dream state begins and then begin a technique so that you can target your REM period. Trying to manipulate your REM cycles sounds like a bad idea. The only time I would recommend this is for advanced lucid dreaming where you sleep deprive yourself one night to have a longer REM period on the following night. Otherwise just sleep 4-6 and find that sweet spot so you can enter REM right away. |
