      Wink The PRO's routine for lucidity (The ALL in ONE way)

      This post/routine is inspired by Dream Yoga, its the original way of LUCID DREAMING.
      I don't know if such posts were already posted but here it is;

      ||| If you want to have GREAT recall of your dreams and so rise your chances to become lucid, every night before you sleep imagine (review) your past day (not necessary in a chronologic/linear way but it's better if you can). This builds a "muscle" of memory needed for lucid dreams. When you start you will become aware how we live with so little awareness, so you will not be able to recall everything. But with time you will. You will live in greater awareness of every moment. So it's like ADA or mindfulness. Of course, because in buddhism and dream yoga it is the key for everything.

      ||| Do the same in the morning! Don't move and begin to review, recall the dreams you had. Remember its just like a gym, with time you are better and better

      ||| In the day practice reality checks or ADA. Everything that makes you question reality, everything that makes you AWARE and live in lucidity. A simple reality checks are enough.

      ||| Meditate: For dream yoga or lucid dreams the best meditations are the focus meditation like the "calm abiding" meditation (samatha) or zhiné (it is the same just different names). You can focus on your breathe or an external object, you can even meditate on a mental image like a light ball between your eybrows or in your chest. The importance is the focus of course.

      If you practice this you will be immersed in an aware/consciouss life so your dreams will be the same: conscious and lucid. You have chances to become lucid by doing only one of them but if you do all of them your chances are the highest. I don't think that you can fail, it requires only a discipline and persistance.

      Hey Metaphysic, nice summary of lucid dreaming! I keep a day journal as well as a dream journal talking about everything that I just did in the day, my feelings, accomplishments etc and I really did find that my recall drastically improved from just keeping a dream journal

      Yeah this is the step : "||| Do the same in the morning! Don't move and begin to review, recall the dreams you had. Remember its just like a gym, with time you are better and better."

      The only difference is that you write what you review. So it's good of course
