I have been trying to keep mind awake and body asleep for 3 weeks now with no success. My problem is that thought I wake up every night around 4am I end up going back to sleep unconsciously even though I lie in bed trying to keep my mind awake as I fall asleep. I'm thinking of trying to maintain lucidity by placing my arms over my head and seeing if I can fall asleep lucidly in this position? Has anyone managed this?
Or perhaps something like energy work as an option when I get up in the middle of the night?
