I would say start doing reality checks whenever you wake up, even if its in the middle of the night, get into the habit of doing that. That should stop them False Awakenings from messing up your LDing too much. |

I do reality tests regularly, and I knew all about false awakenings. For some reason I woke up in the middle of the night, and thought to myself. "This is a perfect time to induce a lucid dream." So i put on my headphones and played a lucid dream induction track and reminder thing, but the sound kept crackling and I didn't know why. (I also knew mechanics usually dont work in dreams) But i went to sleep and woke up realising it had all been a dream. |

Kastro's advice is one you should follow for sure You can extend your RCs to a greater extend by doing more than lets say checking your clock..that doesnt always work. Look around your room abit, and if you are getting up any to play tracks or whatever, go look outside your window The best RC is your environment, awareness is your friend. You can do this kind of 'awareness RC' whenever you want..its really much more effective than the classic RCs like checking clocks.. Least, if you ask me. But thats just me. |
