not imagining my own dream scene

This is going to sound a bit strange( i think) but ive been trying to LD for around 2 weeks now using the FILD and had a couple of goes at WILD. Ive done a lot of reading up about RC'ing self awareness, dream recall etc. Ive even been meditatiing every day. But the thing im struggling with is i really dont know what i want to do in my LD. Ive read a few times about picturing my dream scene and what i would do if i become lucid but i just honestly dont know. I want to just watch and feel what its like but be aware that im dreaming. I just enjoy dreaming. Even more when its a vvid dream. But im really struggling to decide what i want to do. I just want to get there i suppose and see where it takes me. I hope this makes sense. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Try asking the dream to show you something funny or amazing. Maybe you can come up with a neat little "what if?" scenario on the fly to be a spectator at. Like what if your favorite superhero had been captured and your favorite band had to rescue them? Very few things don't make sense in a dream.

I think you answered your own question in your OP, jonklj: Just get there first.

There will be plenty of time later to imagine new dream scenes, if you feel like doing so. But at first (and lots of times after, probably) just being aware that you are dreaming in the dream you've already been provided can be more than enough.

Yea i was hoping for this to happen to just sort of sit and watch and feel what its like. I was getting a bit worried that i havent started LDing yet because i cant imagine my own dream scene.

^^ Nope, your first LD hasn't arrived yet for some other reason, I think. Being able to imagine a dream ahead of time is nice, but it really has nothing to do with initially becoming lucid. The reason you're not be there yet might simply be that you've only been at it for a couple of weeks; give yourself more time to allow your daytime practices (like RC's) to help get your head in the right place, and more time to get better used to attempting your WILD's.
