      WILD Never Works...for me.

Hey everybody. I have unsucsessivley been trying to WILD since i came here. HAha. Other methods seem to work fine for me, but when ever I try a WILD, I wake up with absolutly NO recall. And I usally remebr 3 dreams a night on average. So I not only do not get any Lucid dreams, but i Loose my non-lucids too. Is there anyone else here who ahs been trying on and off to WILD for a long time, but just dont any results from it?

I think I've tried WILDing about twenty times maybe, and never gotten close. I wake up so completely, even after 5 hours of sleep, that it takes a long time to fall asleep again and i just give up eventually.

Same problem for me. I usually remember dreams quite well, but after that one night when I tried to WILD, I didn't remember anything.

Hmm, whoa, same just happened to me last night.
I'm remembering at least 2 dreams a night now but after waking up this morning (after a WILD attempt last night) I remembered nothing and I mean nothing at all.

I dug deep into past events, concentrated completely, threw everything else out of my mind, used all the power of my mind and all the techniques I employ to recall a dream in the morning and I recalled...nothing. I don't even remember a night that I didn't have at least a feeling of some sort remaining upon waking up.

It has worked for me a few times before. But in all those instances I have later realized that I was just performing WILD in a dream, so it wasn't really a WILD at all.

Whoa! This could be my problem!

My recall has been steadily disappearing altogether lately, and I've been getting worried about it! The thing is, my recall started to disappear right around when I started experimenting with WILD. The more I try to WILD, the farther I get from an LD, or any dreams at all!

      That's it! I'm taking a WILD vacation!

Once or twice i have wilds, but only when I am not actually trying. i don't even know whether I am dreaming of having them.

I wouldn't say that I've been trying for a long time, but I haven't had any luck with it the times I have tried it. I have gotten as far as SP and HI, but that's it.

The only time it worked, was when I was already asleep, and had a (non-lucid) dream about going to bed and trying to WILD -- it worked then, and the rest of my dream was lucid.

Yeah I've tried WILD a fair bit, got almost to the transitional stages a few times but can never seem to cross the line. After a while of that I've kinda given up, and now every attempt I do is pretty half-arsed and I haven't got that transitional stage in quite some time. I guess the only way to master WILDing is through a lot of hard work... which I haven't really been putting in. I guess it's a little hard to stay enthusiastic when you haven't had an LD for quite a while. My advice would be to look to get a few LD's through some other methods first so you're confident, and when you've got that to work with then you can get stuck into WILDing as hard as you like.
