Question Lucid Dreaming while on Benzos???

This is different question, so I'm gonna put him in new thread.

Recently I started taking Benzos(klonopin 0.5mg per day) for Anxiety. I feel very sleepy at night and in morning which is good, but my techniques it seems doesn't work anymore, so I'm wondering why. Are benzos suppressing REM or intention memory(to have a LD), but I have a lot of vivid dream through the night so my REM must be okay. I even incorporate FILD and mantra-WILD, but to no avail. The moment I stop keeping my awareness, I fall asleep. I even try WILD just before sleep, but I'm getting strange result. I'm staying in my bed keeping my awareness(WILD or FILD) for like several minutes and then open my eyes to see am I dreaming, but room look absolutely the same(even the pain in my throat or noise of the fan heater), but when looked at the time on my phone a whole hour were passed and I'm getting also a bizarre sensation of my legs floating over my body. Did I'm trying to induce LD while dreaming, but when open my eyes I'm still in the real world.

So how to proceed, any ideas?

I would suggest you don’t take klonopin everyday. Not because you can’t attain lucidity but because when and if you are ever having to come off of it you’ll have the most frightening terrifying nightmares known to man.

I was on three mg a day and was yanked off of it when I moved to a different state.

When I was going they the withdrawals I literally thought I was at Gods Judgment and about to be sent to hell.

So please take it from someone who has been down this road.

      Use as needed.

I'm using them only for bad moments of anxiety as doc prescribed. Several days if necessary.

I've only read surface level material regarding medications and lucid dreaming. It seems generally that it will inhibit lucidity from occurring. So maybe taking them as little as possible would be best, which you probably are already doing.
How long have you been taking the benzos? Also, how frequently were you able to LD before you started taking them? I wish I had more to contribute. Hopefully someone with some more useful insight will see your post and have something helpful to add.

Best of wishes with getting your LDs back.
