Has anybody ever gone in for surgery, sedation dentistry or just been sedated and tried what I suppose would be a WILD? |

When I got sedated there wasn't really much time to think about anything. The surgeons told me I was going to get an onion taste in my mouth and then fall asleep immediately and that's what happened. |

Huh, you guys are lucky. I kept fighting my way back out of the sedative... repeatedly... Felt like forcing your way to lucidity in a dream; but I'm pretty sure they weren't false awakenings. |

I had only one experience with narcosis during surgery. Well, doctors put a little mask on me and within several seconds I went to sleep. It felt kinda funny. In my mind I saw my body turn invisible and disappear. My legs and arms also felt like air baloons for a second or 2. There werent many thoughts. The speed with which you are blacking out is astonishing. A couple of breaths and you are out. |

Interesting. I wonder if there are...wait, I know there have to be studies on sleep under certain sedatives, I wonder if the cycles are the same or if you are just simply out like the dead. |
