The twitches are just part of sleep paralysis, and a good sign that you're on the right track. Just try to ignore them and keep yourself relaxed, I guess. |

I've been trying to WILD a few times now. The first time was probably my most succesful one so far (my entire body became numb and tingling). Since then I just keep falling back asleep whenever I try. It's gotten better lately though. I've started to see some faint imagery (I think). Usually it's looking up at stars from a beach with a quiet sea, something like that. But sometimes I get these muscle twitches and it wakes me up a little bit. Anyone know what causes this? |

“The sleep is still in my eyes
The dream is still in my head
I heave a sigh and sadly smile
And lie a while in bed
I wish that it might come to pass
Not fade like all my dreams” —Rush
I have been trying that while listneing to music... Loosing my self in the music and start dreaming that I'm in my bed just listning... I found that this was easier with music I dont know to well as the stuff I know by heart makes me think of what is to come instead of listning to what is playing right now... a few times I am pretty sure I started dreaming new sounds in the tracks... I was thinking that if I manage to consentrate on the music long enough to fall a sleep I should be able to atain lucidety pretty much right away... Anyone tried this? |

I'm pretty much in the same position as you. Every night i go to sleep and when i wake up accidentally, i try and go for a WILD, but cant quite get it. My body tingles and my eyes start to twitch, and just like you, i end up looking up at the sky/ceiling (because thats the position i fall asleep in). And then i wake up. |
