I must say I've attempted to do something similar a year ago. Pretty much I couldnt sleep one night, I decided to stay up the second night. All together I think I was awake for like 75 hours straight. I was extremely cranky and started experiencing bodily hallucinations, like something was shifting/waving inside of me |

Sure, you might slip right into REM after all that time, but just try to stay conscious enough to wild. Fat chance! |
|
and most likely your brain would keep you out of rem sleep because your actually using like the same amount of processing power in rem as in waking life, it would stay in that stage where absolutely nothing is happening so as to rest as much as it could, or you would go so absolutely deep that you would never even remember your dreams |

Why bother when you could sleep a few hours then wake up, and have such a high success rate. That cant be good to consume caffiene when deprived sleep. That can take a toll on ones body. It seems a lot of people think thier body is thier own personal lab rat. But its your body I guess. |
