      I still can't have a lucid dream.

I've been trying to have a lucid dream for 3 weeks and still can't have one. I've been remembering several dreams per night and I think I've come close. Usually at the very end of a dream I realize I'm dreaming and do one of two things-either I find myself in my bed pressing my finger to my hand, or I try to spin, but I already know it's too late and I'm already half awake. What should I do? I've been taking B6.

Recently I've been having more and more dreams in which I kind of know it's a dream, but don't have the presence of mind to decide that it's a dream. How can I be "more awake" in a dream? I don't notice any difference between taking B6 and not taking B6. It just "jump started" my dream recall. Should I try a larger dose?

      b6

I have to say B6 has helped me remember dreams and some of them were lucid. Don't overdose on that stuff it can be bad for you if taken large amounts. I read the safe amount was from 100-200mg a day.

Also check out my MP3 file in the Attaining Lucidity section!

Caffien has worked nicely for me so far. just this mornig I woke up from a 5 hour sleep, woke up my friend, Blake. him and I each drank a glass of Pepsi while taking a nice walk outside, talking about our dreams from the previouse night and went back to sleep after about 45 min. Blake turned on a hemi-sync mp3 and had a long semi-lucid dream. I didnt listin to a mp3 but still had a False awakening in which I VERY quickly realised I was in a dream after watching an owl hit my bedroom window and turn into a huge bat and fly away. I then went to check on Blake and dicided I was going to act like a dumbass and wake up by trying something so stupid so early, shooting lightning at him. It woke me up but I think id rather wake up from a lucid, rather than lose lucidity and keep dreaming cuz atleast when you wake up, you get another chance.

      That'd be # 3 for me

just relax. If you can remember your dreams than youre getting something out of it right? one step at a time. Just enjoy the journey and youll eventually get to your destination. It seems like the more people are dying to get to the end, the harder it is. Speaking from my experience, I had a passive interest, but an interest, and just kept at it, without expecting much, and then it exploded in my face.(thats a good thing ). So just hang in there. Sounds liek youre very close anyhow.

I got into this in the summer, for like three weeks, and then I got off track for the past 4 months, but now, I'm trying to learn again, with a more passive interest like gameover said, hopefully I can keep it going when school starts again.
