      Well, here goes nothing...

Well, I had a lucid dream last night (first in about a month), but everything was real fuzzy, and I can't recall all of the details. So, I scrounged through the drug cabinet and lo and behold, I found some vitamin B-6. So, I took some...I guess I'll find out if it'll actually work tonight...

At least itll be a placebo if anything. I think its more important to make sure you always have a good amount of all vitamins, B for your nervous system, by eating a wide spectrum of foods. Everything you need is in food. But hey, knock yourself out. Ive gone down that road before. Im better of without supplements.

Hmm b6 is a funny vitamin, that's for sure. I've tried it a few times, and it seems to give varying results. Usually for me it gives me really long, adventure-like dreams that are usually pretty strange. I have had one lucid dream after taking B6, but that was ages ago...

One down side to B6 is that I've found it really messes with your dream recall - you might have really vivid dreams, but have a lot of trouble remembering them, or sometimes the whole night will seem like a complete blank, and you'll feel kind of 'groggy' in the morning. Another thing with B6 is that it 'wears off' rather quickly, so try and take it before you go to sleep to get the full potential, but sometimes I've found it hard to get to sleep after taking it, so I guess it depends.

Experiment a bit with B6 by all accounts, but don't take too much of it and dont' let it replace normal dreaming. It's handy for if you've had a dry spell of dreams though.

Just asking about the taking too much thing.

If you took too much of a vitamin, wouldn't the stuff you didn't use leave your body later in urine?

Yeah, the bottle said it was time released, so I'm hoping it'll, well, y'know, last a while...

Well I think that is the case with most vitamins... if you took maybe 800mg of B6 then maybe some would be secreted in urine, but I've heard of studies saying that taking in excess of 300mg of B6 for a prolonged time can cause nerve damage or something like that. It's not particularly just a high dose that is bad, but prolonged high doses. I only usually use B6 for a few days in a row then don't use it again for a long time.

Well, I've been a bit busy lately, so I couldn't get on yesterday, but the WBTB worked like a charm, and I had one of my best LDs yet...In any case, I don't really have time to go into detail, but I was very pleased with the results. I'm going to try cutting the B-6, because I don't want to think I'll have to rely on it as a crutch for all my LDing...I'm gonna try WBTB again tonight...wish me luck...

I tried B6 one, and I couldn't even get to sleep, much less remember my dreams, but it could have different effects on other people.
