      Shlumpeet's way of lucid dreaming.

This isn't a new technique, but it's a new idea sorta. It will help you DILD while using a WBTB method.

I started setting my alarm for 3:30am so I could WILD, and when I did I noticed that I always woke up quite a few times before the alarm would go off. I wondered why this happened, and I concluded it was because I kept remembering that I was to wake up at that time. So I realized that I was remembering possibly when I was dreaming, which made me think, why not perform a reality check everytime I think of this?

1: Set your alarm for a good time so you can perform your WBTB method of your choice.

2: While going to sleep, remind yourself that you will be waking up at this time. Keep it on your mind. It will eventually become a habbit.

3: MAKE SURE EVERYTIME YOU THINK ABOUT YOU WAKING UP YOU PERFORM A REALITY CHECK.

4: When you wake up, perform your WBTB method.

This method greatly helps in DILDing while you can perform your WBTB method. If you remember you're supposed to wake up and do your RC's then you might just do it during a dream.

Heres a thought, Do an Rc everytime you realize you need to do something This is my new technique, since I too wake up more than a couple times right before my alarm goes off. Doing both sounds like a good idea though. I'll try it out.
I've recently noticed that I realize I'm dreaming almost everyday. I'll wake up for school and accidently fall back asleep, dream, and in the middle of the dream I'll just spontaniously remember I have to wake up and get ready. I never seem to take advantage of this sudden realization. I've actually been meaning to test this technique out.

Hmm...Sounds like an interesting idea. I wake up before my first alarm quite a bit too. I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, it's a really good idea to do reality checks when you wake up. Especially If you wake up a lot throughout the night. I think that trying to turn on your light would be the best reality check in this particular setting.
I can't remember how many times I've had a false awakening, then tried to turn on the light and not having it work. Unfortunately I have only become lucid a couple of times from that. I usually just try to find a new lightbulb and then get distracted and do something else.
