      Very Odd Lucid Dream

      Hey there.

This morning, I woke up. I was very tired, and not a lot of what was going on registered with me.

I began to fall back alseep again. What happened next is now incredibly blurry, but somehow in less than five seconds I had managed to stand up in my dream body, and perform a succesful reality check.

The dream was incredibly vivid. I couldn't tell the difference beween the dream and reality, so much so that I had to do a second reality check before jumping out of a window.

I lost lucidity very quickly. I opened my eye, and saw my room, but then closed it again. The dream began to fade, but I could still feel the rug beneath my feet as if it were real.

I'm just wondering what happened. I've never heard of such a thing before...

      Thanks,
      Xei.

Sounds like Wake Back To Bed (WBTB). I have had this experience as well this past week. Awesome but not lucid.

I think that is pretty common, actually. A lot of times when coming out of a dream, the senses will activate out of sync with each other. I've had dreams where I open my waking world eyes and can still hear what is going on in my dreams, and some where my eyes are closed, dreaming, and I hear waking world sounds and can feel my body in my bed. Strange feeling, but I don't think it is too unusual, though.

I get these quite often, and they always bother me because they feel like lucid dreams, but they fade so quickly.
