      WBTB and food for thought

The last couple weeks Ive been experimenting with WBTB paying close attention to every detail of what I do and do not do and this week specifically I have found an amazing aide quite by accident.

I woke up and figured I would have my morning shake, I have a very disciplined diet but that particular morning I felt like I was burning out so I had my shake prior to my final waking, incase anybody is wondering I have nestle's breakfast shakes. So anyway I had my shake prior to going back to bed and my dreams were absolutely amazing, wonderfully vivid and I had multiple LDs in a 2 1/2 hour span, I credit these to the vividness though as I usually have 1 to 2 in a good WBTB. This whole week Ive been doing the same and have had 4 mornings where this has occurred.

There is no listed b/b6 vitamins in the shake so I passed that off and assumed it's just because my brain is fired up along with my metabolism. Im no scientist either so hopefully Laberge or somebody does some REAL research on the topic of food and dreams. Laberge never covered anything like this in his book maybe rev. 3 will.

I did a study on the effect of food on dreams a couple years ago for school. It pretty much pulled up no results, except I had a lucid dream the night I took melatonin . The only patterns I noticed were probaby spawned from the changing of variables... there were like a 100 variables that I didn't control so It wasn't a very good research thing

That's interesting h0ju. How long do you sleep before you Wake, and how long do you stay awake before going back to bed?

I've 6 lucids through WBTB and MILD, but I still want to increase frequency. I'm finding if I sleep 6 hours I can't get back to sleep. If I sleep less than 4 hours I can't get lucid. Still trying to find the right quantities.

I sleep between 6-6 1/2 hours then Im awake for 70-80 mins. That is the usual though I have done 5 hours of sleep aswell with less results.

Had a LD last night after only 1 hour of sleep, and then 5 minutes of MILD.

Hope it happens again like this, as didn't have to worry about getting back to sleep or getting enough sleep.

Also had a dream about drinking eggnog. I think I'll try the breakfast shake also.
