You seem to be on the right track to WILDing, but you need to make sure you're falling asleep. How can it be a dream if you're not even asleep, huh? |

hey everyone, im new here, and new to this whole lucid dreaming deal... i love the idea and i want to master it... now, i tried this: ok, i made a nice comftorable spot for myself in my bed, i layed down, no light, no tv, no nothing, i closed my eyes, and breathed really heavy... after a while i felt my heart beating then i started to imagine stuff.... whats goin on, and how do i make the imagined stuff seem more real... any help would be great, thx.. |

Well, I've never had a WILD before, but what I think happens is, you wake up after 5-6 hours of sleep, you go back to sleep while telling yourself "I will have a lucid dream" Or something like that, and from what I've heard you're supposed to wake up from bed in a dream... Then you do a reality check and you're off. |

Its important to stay calm during those 'sensations' |

When you say, "...started to imagine stuff..." it sounds like you were on the brink of going straight into a lucid dream. When that happens to me, I try not to impart any control at all on the images that come into my head, but at the same still remain cognizant of the fact that a lucid dream is likely to follow. |
