New to this but have some questions

ok sometimes i have dreams when i am thinking about it before i go to bed usually i never have control over these dreams but i had an extraodanary one. It was about this girl that i really care about and i could of sworn i had partial control but not a lot i was more watching it. The thing is i could feel things like it was real. I sometimes think i can hear in my dreams im pretty positive {i dont have a journal} but i could tottaly feel touch and full emotion like it was so real. Was that a partial lucid dream because it was great. Im really curious about how to get into one on will do you just think about it before you sleep? And once your in your dream realise you have full control and your set? I did recall as I child the good ol monster dream and being able to get rid of it my stopping and noticing it was fake. I was really young and i guess it just happened. But now im discovering what you really can do im curious id love to have these kind of dreams. I was just wondering if any pointers could be given about how to get into the dreams not nesscerly controling them yet but getting into them and watching
im looking forward to trying tonight so could anyone give me some pointers THANKS!

Well, it sounds like you are remembering your dreams well, and that's a good start. To learn the most about lucid dreaming, read the info on this site, and DEFINITELY buy the book by LaBerge on the topic. You can find it cheap on ebay or half.com

Take it in small doses. You really should buy LaBerge's book; he walks you through it all step by step. I checked on half.com, and you can buy the book for like $3.00 plus a couple bucks for shipping.

Well Lucid means being AWARE, and so to have a lucid dream you have to be aware in that dream.
Sounds like your dream recall is great, you are ready to move on!

Oh, by the way, welcome to dream views!
