Yup... that happens to me, too. I focused on my intent to have a lucid dream last night, and all I got in the morning were memories of like 2 seconds of a dream. I have a lot better results if I just go to sleep normaly, I think.

i find it helps to just try to remember through the last dream you had, and kind of keep the story going....maybe thats just me but try anyway

HMM, last night I popped a whole bunch of pills (like vitamins and supplements, and melatonin) I can say that I had a good night sleep, but almost no dreams (I hardly remember 2 of them... )

Well, you gotta work on your dreamrecall obviously.
Everybody dreams when they sleep... but not everybody is able to remember it.

For me, trying too hard actually causes me to dream less. My dreams were extremely vivid and realistic, finally leading up to an amazing lucid dream. But the next night, as I meditated I focused on my intent to recognize I was dreaming. I repeated it like a mantra for probably a good 45 minutes while I completely cleared my mind. And then what did I dream? Practically nothing.

Whenever I try to reach my subconcious to force myself to dream, it always turns out to be counter productive. Anyone else here the same?
