      A way to become lucid.

Sorry if there already is a topic/guide about this, but if there is, I haven't seen it.

I simply stayed alert while trying to fall asleep, instead of relaxing. It worked, and I went through the stages of NREM-sleep while being aware of it. I waited to enter the REM-sleep, and finally it came, and I was lucid.

I did this two times this night, and became lucid both, as a result.

Perhaps the best way to assure lucidity if you get good at this technique.

      Good job!

That's interesting. I've been practicing WILD the past week. I'm still staying too conscious while my body falls asleep. I think I was close to Lucidity last night. I looked down and put my hand on my dream knee and it felt just like it feels in RL. Then it faded to black again. I suppose that counts as a half LD

I'm going to continue practicing WBTB with WILD every night since I never have to wake up early in the morning.
      No LDs yet.
