So you've never had an LD before? I've tried the WBTB tech. many times, but I can't ever get back to bed. That's probably my own issue, but it's very annoing. I'll wake up, then incubate and MILD, but no matter how tired I am I can never seem to get back to bed. |

Yeah, I tried WBTB for my first time last night, as well. I just read DV for about 40 minutes, emptied my bladder, and went back to bed telling myself that "I wil fly, and I'll realize I'm dreaming." I fell asleep, and didn't have a dream... I woke up disappointed, then fell back asleep. This time I had a pretty vivid regular dream. It was cool, but kind of disappointing. Oh well. |

Keep at it, Phillip. You will get the hang of it eventually. WBTB method takes a bit of practice, as does any other method. Hang in there, and you'll do just fine. |

If you're having trouble getting back to sleep, try staying up for a shorter amount of time, such as 30 minutes instead of 45. Maybe even printing out some stuff from here (tutorials, posts, etc.) and keeping it by your bedside. That way when you wake up you don't necessarily have to get up. |
