      Techniques

Hello all! I'm new, of course, and I hope I'll have a good time here!

Anyways, I'm trying to gain complete ludicity... I've gained partial ludicity once, but it was on accident. I asked on some some other forums, they said it was a lucid dream. I got exicted and woke up...

So, I'm hoping to try MILD, along with the reward and punishment system, but nothing much has happened. Any ways that I can get this to work, or more effective techniques? Thanks!

I think the MILD method is great. Check what I just wrote in this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic....ghlight=#274088

I highly suggest reading about the MILD method in EWOLD... considering the author invented that method (this is only if you do not have the book).

Personally I think the "reward and punishment" thing is kind of pointless and redundant. Isn't having a lucid dream and not having one reward and punishment (respectfully) enough? Train your mind to just have lucid dreams and not be so weak that it needs constant reassurance to have them.

Welcome aboard, dreamer! Have you checked out any of DV's tutorials yet? If not, I highly recommend it - you may find another technique to work for you.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to PM a Dream Guide! Good Luck!

How long have you been trying to use this technique? If it has only been a couple of days, than I wouldn't worry about it. It'll happen eventually. If you have been practicing this for a long while, try experimenting with different techniques. Sometimes, certain ones have to fit you and your mind. Some just don't work for some people...

Yes, yes.. Dream Recall.. Need to work on this.. gonna try WILD tonight. More effective, and I'm used to staying up... It says that if you master this, you can gain ludicity any time you want!

Personally, I've been intermittantly making WILD attempts for about two weeks now. They're coming along nicely, getting some progress, though I havn't suceeded yet.

My advice is, if you're gonna try to WILD, read up heavily on other peoples' experiences, and what they do at various stages, what works for them, and what doesn't. In my experience, learning to WILD is a process of trial and error... different things work for different people, and other people have it more difficult than others. If you can read other peoples' experiences, and experiment yourself, you may slowly start to get some idea of what works for you, and what doesn't...

But remember: you may not get the same things other people get. For instance, I don't get hypnogogic imagery, or at least, not very much of it, but I don't think that stops you from a successful WILD. So just don't be disappointed if what happens to you is different to what other people describe... it doesn't neccessarily mean you can't WILD...

yeah... I'm rambling... meh, I'll shut up now. Hope that's some help.
