I have been trying out WILD a few times now and It is very interesting, It is very similar to meditation that I have been doing for quite some time now. What seems to happen is that I do my counting to 100 to get relaxed and that goes very well and then after a while I get that familiar heavy numb feeling all over my body. I have been doing my WILD laying down on my bed, where as when I meditate I do It in the half lotus position (sitting up, cross legged) IT seems that the longer I do it while laying down the heavier and more numb my body feels. I do also get the slight sensation of lights behind my eys, much like the light you see after looking at a bright light and then closing your eyes. I get the feeling of complete relaxation and also a tingling WOW sort of feeling flow over me. But that seems to be it. I can let my mind wander in this state and also remain conscious the whole time. It is really relaxing and feels great to just lay like this for hours. However It doesn't go any further. Even when I don't really care and am not trying to go further but just relax, nothing happens. So I am not really sure what tyo think about it. But it feels good anyway. If anyone has any advise then please let me know. |
