First LD where i could controll things!

So it finaly happend, yesterday night i had my first LD where i became really aware that it was a dream. And at the same time i also became able to controll most of the dream.
To become aware that it was a dream i used the clock method that ihad read on this site. And my handwatch changed time all the time and switched to many things.
So at this time i knew it could only be a dream. And as soon as i realized this i became able to control myself. The dream itself lastet pretty long. One thing that i didnt even thing about trying to control was the whole dream. I hope ill get another chance to do this soon enough.
I think that one reason why i became lucid in this dream was that i were pretty drunk before i went to sleep. To be honest i fell asleep as soon as i went home from the city and went to bed. So is this a good way to acchive ld and control... ? . I would really like if there would be a little more easy way.

Well, there is a big difference between having the sense where one can make choices of behavior within the given Dream Scene, and imposing directorial control over every aspect of the Dream Scene itself -- arranging the scenery and even controlling the behavior and appearance of the cast of Dream Characters.

For all the propaganda regarding Dream Control, the doctrine of Dream Control first arose in the Lucid Dreaming Community as an intriguing promise circulated with the hopes of boosting book sales and Weekend Seminar bookings. The tribal and primitive cultures where Lucid Dreaming had been discovered certainly had no experience with Dream Control and were puzzled why anybody would wish to cut off the Wisdom of Dreaming by imposing ordinary stupid control over a communication which would best have been left open to the All Knowing Spirits of the Dream.

Congratulations on your first Lucid Dream, in which you could control your surroundings Zeke.

In my opinion, nothing works better for me than being very tired. I have found that when you are very tired you want to sleep a lot more, not just because you want to sleep, but because you need it. I feel this is the best way to induce a Lucid Dream, but that's only me. It changes with the person.

      Experiment!
