saving LDs while waking up naturally

Last night (well more accurately at around 6:30 after about 7 hours of sleep this morning) I had a recurring dream where I am in this building place (I don't know what the facility is but it has to do with either logging or something else involving VERY large cutting blades), it's either in canada or on the way. All I know is I have to get out of there, and since I have had it I went into this room, but then I reallize I have never been in this room, so I go back. Then I see the the rope ladder I usually climb, and remember this technique I use to climb the ladder where I hold the thing I'm holding (don't know what), as I climb the ladder I suddenly realize, [size=15]"I did this in other dreams. I'm dreaming" I am now lucid

The only problem is that at this point I started to naturally wake up, not from excitement. By concentrating really hard I managed to not force myself back into the dream, but it lost almost all it's vividness and was nearly colorless and blurry. I then decided to try spinning, and thought of springfield, MA for some reason, but I couldn't fight my body's decision to wake up I tried counting and saying I am lucid, but gave up unable to relax enough, and after about 10 minutes fell asleep, and didn't get lucid again

Does anyone know how to save a dream when it's not your excitement waknig you up, but your body?

yeah that has happened to me before...i'm not sure there's much you can do about it. especially if you begin to recognize that you are waking up, it seems you are doomed to wake up.
