Yes, you can WILD without any prior sleep. It's not particularly easy for most people though, although it is simplified a bit if you're a tad bit on the sleep-deprived side before trying. That way your mind is more willing to transit directly to an REM phase upon going to sleep, hence a WILD.

It REALLY hard. But when you are in the right state, it's possible.

Maybe some people could master it, I can't

nereuo, when are you going to change your sig. that fat kid is getting on my nerves. he's probably you.

Wild for anytime of the night is hard for me. I just cant seem to get the falling asleep part right. Its probably possible to do it at the start of the night but why do you want to? Youll probably forget most of your lucid dream when you wake up considering you have a lot more sleep left to go. Unless you stay up for a little after having it but in that case you might as well do it then.

yes, it is possible...but much easier after some sleep.

It's impossible, for me, to do WILD during a WBTB.

i used to keep a dream journal, but I have since found a far more effective method. Try using a voice recorder. I've found that I can talk a lot faster than I can write and the result is a more in depth recollection of my dreams. What I do now is let it record for 4 hours at night and when I sometimes wake in between dreams I just say what I remember from the dreams.
