Catching up on sleep and Lucid dreaming

After several lucid dreams now, I've noticed that they all seem to occur during holidays, after bouts of sleep deprivation. Usually the second or third day of the holiday, I'll have one in the last REM stage of sleep, in the mid-morning kinda time. Anyone else experience this/want to share any thoughts on why this might be?

I also experienced an LD when I was taking a nap a few days ago to make up for the time change.

I'm going to have to agree ShYne123. Over the last week I have'nt gotten more than 8 hours of sleep, and while I remembered tidbits, they were boring as hell, adn I didn't even bother writing them down (I don't want to remember dreams where I am doing home work they are not fun). I'm hoping I get better luck over the weekend and during April vacation (only four school days left woohoo).

What's valerian root? Also, what's up with you and trying to get lucid with all those nutritional supplements or whatever they are? Half the posts I see from you involved some vitamin or sleep increasing tool. You seem like a nice person, and I am not attacking you as a person, I'm just wondering if all these supplements and roots don't have any side affects that hurt their users on the inside at the same time as helping them accomplish their goals.

Good times, good times. If I don't have a nice break soon I'm gonna go insane. I'm an all A's student, but right now I just want to be a lazy ass and not do any schoolwork for a month. It's really ridiculous. Next wednesday I have 3 tests/quizzes, and about 4 hours of homework already assigned that are due between monday and wednesday. I'm probably going to get more, too.

Well to little sleep certainly has some effects on (lucid)dreaming for me. weirdly enough, when I sleep for like 14 hours my dream recall tends to be way less <=/

Wow, that sucks. Im 10th grade highschool student my class rank is 12 out of 110 i get about 85-95's. (A-B) But i barily ever have homework (I go to a tech school) Do you have that much work in collage or High school?

      Also..
Yeah, well the B complex i accuily bought becuase i was not eating enough vegetables before i heard about Ld-ing. I dont really "need" these supplements but valerian root or how-ever its spelled I have researched it and its nothing more then any other tea, it just makes you tired without being groggy meaning it dosnt hurt your Lds.[quote]

Heh, i just spoke to my friend, who doesnt make a habit of trying to LD, but has them occassionally, and he told me that he just had one, at the start of the holiday too. Catching up on sleep really seems to give ya a kick up the butt on your way to LDing ;O
