I've been practicing lucid dreaming/OBE's for about 11 years now, but recently I've been 'distracted' by the apparently 'real' world of physical living, so my efforts have slackened off, leaving an empty, gnawing feeling of dissatisfaction in my daily (and nightly) life.
I've had the experience in the past of using 'reminder' devices such as the novadreamer and found the unnatural feeling of wearing something like that on my face very disturbing - a waste of money on a good invention that just wasn't for me.
BUT....recently, I had the good fortune of stumbling upon a little device that is SO unobtrusive and easy to incorporate into your daily/nightly life, that I feel I'm in feline heaven....
It's called the invisible clock, here's the website:
http://www.invisibleclock.com/
It's like a miniature computer that you set to give a vibration alarm of whichever intensity you prefer/need to wake you during the night so you can recall more dreaming/reinforce your dreaming intent etc such as Wake Induced Lucid Dreams (my specialty!)
Use it throughout the day to reinforce reality check habits.
It's about the size of a small pager (VERY cute) and costs only $39.95.
My dreaming awareness has blossomed again due to this sweet little friend.
You get so many different settings for you to play with - it becomes a highly personal friend.
I never did get to buy the Programmable Electronic State Tester from the Lucidity Institute as the price was just....a bit too much. Not being made anymore anyway
This little cutie MIGHT JUST help you as it did me.
My dream recall is now incredible. What a difference it has made!
Hope this helps,
Joe Feline.

Wow again (you put out a good post in the philosophy section).. nice suggestion on the pager item. I have excellent dream recall but lately due to life and reality, I've been too busy and my recall and lucid experiences have come to a stand still (but I'm not too worried, for now). Welcome to the board. I see you are new. Thanks for joining and sharing your experiences and such. I look forward to reading more of your contribution to this messageboard.
