      The WILD Hearing Method

      Ths technique has worked wonders for me. I tried it last night for the first time. It;s supposed to put you in sleep pyralisis, it got up to my waist, then stopped.

      Remember, this was my first night, and early in the night, while WILDS are supposed to be in afternoon naps or early morning.

      You have to lay in a very quiet room. You have to listen for the tinnutus- the inner buzzing of your ear. After you hear it, you should enter sleep pyralisis, concentrate on the imagery, and enter the dream.

      Works well.

      Thats an interesting technique I havent heard of

      i'm guessing the continuous buzzing is meant to help you clear your mind, something I often have trouble doing. I'll try this tonight and see if it works for me, thanks!

      If this induces my first WILD I'll be very grateful!

      general rule of thumb for how long it will take to hear this sound?

      Maybe 30-60 minutes... You really have to concentrate on trying to hear it.

      i find i get a rushing sensation in my ears sometimes, is that what your talking about or am i close?

      It's like your ears are ringing, after a couple minutes of that, you should get sleep pyralisis, or see hypnotic imagerey. Pay attention to the images, you'll enter the dream.

      I have heard this buzzing in my ear during the day when I am really tired or at night when I am going to sleep. It has always been my goal to try and make it go away. If I notice it again I am going to try this method. I might try a WILD and try this technique tonight thanks!

      I did hear the noise; I thought that was part of WILD but I couldn't remember where I read it. So if you hear it, are you already asleep? I had trouble with entering the dream, it was like I didn't have a body and I was just watching a tiny screen. How do you get yourself into it? If something doesn't wake you up, do you just go into it?

      I tend to hear this sound only when its very quiet or I'm feeling very tired. I tried concentrating on it before and it just kept me awake for ages

      I've been trying to do this like everynight since I've heard of it here, but I can't seem to concentrate on it too long cause I got a serious case of stuffy nose (allergies) but ill keep trying....

      I know,i did this tehnique once,but a litle diferent(before i saw this,this was the first tehnique that had any resoults,and the time passes bye quickly)did u feal like those images where pulling u in,makeing ur eyes open,if so plz tell me,and tell me what to do next

      I enter sleep paralysis when I start hearing this sound. And this is my only method of WILD(may be WILD)

      I'll give that a try, as focusing on my breathing for an hour didn't seem to get much past a very low level SP in my hands.
