      Possible WILD?! Look @ post 3! --->HELP!

      HEY! i've had a little hiatus from trying to LD. School is winding down so things are getting very stressed. In two weeks once school's over I'll be more dedicated. Anyways,

      So since i'm stressed out and have stopped thinking about it a lot, I have lost a lot of my dream recall, I still keep up my dream journal when i have a dream i remember but now I'm back to 1 dream a week, sad. But even though, last night I had a dream i thought was pretty weird, and when i woke up I remembered that when i was sleeping i thought to myself, " Remember this dream when you wake up." Like, I remember that after I had the dream, I literally told myself that. So, I'm I closer to being lucid? If so, where do i go from here? Any help? Thanks!

      I think you're getting somewhere. When I was trying, I was pretty stressed out and lost a lot of dream recall. It's great that you can use your mind as a "PDA" of some sort. Once you can get a good grip on remembering your dreams, or just a feeling when you wake up, you'll get really close to LDs.

      Do you have a dream journal? It might help. Instead of trying to remember overnight, write down the keywords. Hopefully they'll invoke a response in your brain.

      WILD!

      yeah, i have a dream journal! AndI love it, not only because I can keep track of my dreams but because it's fun to look back and see what wacky things you dreamt. So fun. So wait, your sig says you've had 3 dreams about lucid dreaming? how does that wokr out, and how can you know if it isn't an actual lucid dream? haha, quite confusing.

      OH! So last night, i totally forgot this morning but writing this post has made me remember! I remember when i finally did get to bed after studying at like 2 am, I was trying to fall asleep and it felt like my arms got really really heavy, almost the sensation you get when a part of your body starts to fall asleep because they tingled just a bit. Then, it felt like I couldn't move them even if I wanted to. But my legs still felt totally fine. even when I thought i was having a WILD and my mind became very active, my arms still felt this way. So i started counting just to see what would happen, nothing came of that. I'm confused, i thought that once your head was totally awake, your body would wake itself up. And i thought that my legs were funny because shouldn't they have been having the same sensation as my arms? I got pretty excited about my arms but then i think i just finally fell asleep and gave in to sweet slumber.

      So, was this a partial WILD? And if so, after i start to WILD, what could i have done to continue to enter the lucid dream state?

      Okay, so i'm pretty excited but nowi just need help! haha. thnaks!

      Yeah, I love my dream journal too. About my sig: those dreams (I'm starting to call them Dreams About Lucid Dreams - DALDS) are really weird. Whenever I'm psyched about lucids, I always dream about having one. It's strange - but everyone else tells me they're real lucids...and the feeling will come soon.

      It sounds like you experienced some sleep paralysis - which is great! You're making tons of progress. If you hadn't felt so awake, it could have progressed into a WILD, but it's alright. Next time, I would reccomend Hagart's FILD Technique. You move your fingers ever so slightly, concentrating on the movement. This could lead you into a real lucid dream!

      I love that smiley.

      Thanks! i'll give it a try. School is so almost over, 1 week f finals left and then I'm home free to experiment with my sleeping pattern too and see if that amkes a difference or helps at all. I think i might try FILD before the week is out though, sounds interesting!

      And that smiley is so cool! but I like this one too! Totallly random, haha.
