      First RC Attempt in Dream!

Last night I attempted a reality check for the first time in the dream world. One of my friends called me on my cellphone, and I thought to myself- "Hmm, she hasn't called in awhile... Maybe this is a dream!" So, I decided to do the classic noseplug reality check. I don't remember if it was successful or not, but the next thing I knew, I was awake.

A step closer to lucidity! Woo!

Great job! One of the hardest things to do is to actually remember to do an RC while dreaming. You're definitely on the right track to lucidity! Keep up the great work!

      Way ta go, Odds.

I think the fact that you couldn't remember whether it was successful or not is more positive than knowing you tried and failed. Hahaha. Keep that in mind.
      Keep doin what you're doin!

      Thanks for the encouragement, everybody!

I had another RC the following night, too-- YES!

I'm starting to really become aware of slight differences in the dream world compared to the waking world. Last night, in the dream, I was taking a bath and noticed that the colors in the room were extremely vivid compared to the bathroom in my waking life. Heh, I didn't actually do an RC after that, but I did think about it a little more and, eventually, convinced myself that it wasn't a dream. I woke up and forgot about the dream for awhile. I hopped in the shower and remembered it vividly-- I laughed hysterically and the joy carried on through the rest of the day. I love dreaming.
