      opening eyes after MILD/WILD

So I can get to the stage with vibrations and such, and then I know I'm in a lucid dream because I can sort of get up and walk (in my dream). But when I try to open my eyes, it's really hard to do, and if I try too hard i just wake up. I've tried spinning around and saying increase lucidity and such but it doesnt seem to work. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing you are dreaming because after you wake up, you're still in bed even though you were walking in the dream, right? What do you mean by its hard to open your eyes though?

I had my first WILD a couple of weeks ago. When I still had my eyes closed I slowly sat up on the bed and my body felt incredibly lighter than usual. Then when I slowly opened my eyes, I saw the room I was sleeping in but I knew I was dreaming only because I did a reality check.

Usually if I'm having an LD that's not too vivid and I try to walk/fly around very fast, it becomes a little less vivid. If your dream starts fading out after you open your eyes, you could try opening your eyes slowly, and only try to explore the dream only after it starts becoming a little more vivid. Until then, you could try focusing on a specific object and analyzing it for a little bit, maybe touching it and feeling it also.

there is no spoon. There are no dream eyelids.

Sometimes the look of things in a dream is fuzzy.

Try shouting Increase lucidity. Increase light! Increase vividness!
