The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.
Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
A thousand pictures fill my head,
I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
and yet my limbs seems made of lead. ---Whitacre's Sleep---
Mine seems to be on my back. Sometimes it's harder to fall asleep that way, but I think that helps because it keeps me from sleeping too deeply. |

Ive never been able to fall asleep on my back. When i last tried WILD, i got to stage 3, and i was laying on my back, but it felt like i couldn't go any further. |

as far as DILD's, i have noticed no "best" position for myself...i have woken up in virtually every position possible after them. |

“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” (or better yet: three...)
George Bernard Shaw
No theory, no ready-made system, no book that has ever been written will save the world. I cleave to no system. I am a true seeker. - Mikhail Bakunin
All of my dreams have been DILDs, in which I don't think the position should matter. However, if I remember correctly, I woke up on my back from those. |

---Lucid Experiences: 15---
"In my nightmare, I feel so alive
In my dreamscape, escapades
I make the grade, I save the day."
- Eve 6, Nightmare
"And through it all
How could you cry for me?
Cause I don't feel bad about it.
So shut your eyes,
Kiss me goodbye,
And sleep.
Just sleep.
The hardest part's
The awful things that I've seen."
-My Chemical Romance, Sleep

dreams are real while they last, what more can be said about life??
Adopted: SuperDuck
I woke up from both of my lucids on my back. Problem is if I go to sleep on my back, I often have a sore throat in the morining |

on my left side with knees slightly bent with my fingertips touching |

I usually LD when I'm lying on my stomach or curled up on my right side. I've LD-ed while sleeping on my back, too, but not very often. |
|
I've never had an LD, but I'm working on it. Last night I decided to sleep on my back and I guess it translated into my dreams because I had a dream I was laying in a coffin last night. Now the problem is to realize that I'm on my back in my dream and become lucid! AHH! |
