I had two WILD attempts so far. I get no HS but i get a ton of HI.

My second WILD attempt took 45 minutes before i got HI and then it was suddenly gone after a couple minutes before it came back along with my whole right arm going so numb i thought it might explode. After words, as I kept relaxing everything went black and I started getting no HI except for a circle of light in the center of my vision (kinda like if you look at a bright light, and see the inprint of it when your eyes are closed.) at this piont i thought i failed. but, this circle pulsed with my breathing, and as soon as my mind wandered off a tiny bit and i thought of something (which happened to be my geography exam that i was to write the next day) I had something similar to a daydream but it was more vivid and i could smell, sense, see, hear and touch everything as in real life. I didnt think of this as a lucid dream at that exact moment but I tried changing stuff, such as you might do in a day dream if you didnt like what you imagined. After a total of around 15 seconds into the dream i thought that i might of had a succesful WILD!! As I did my reality check (which happend to be looking at my digital watch) I got all excited and i lost the dream, i could'nt hang on to it any more all tho i tried to dream spin. So i was back at stage 3 (relaxation) seeing HI and concentrating on my breathing. And after 5 minutes my mind went off topic again and th same thing happend, i had that vivid day dream of something (it was a first person of me standing in a dark hallway lookin at a bunch of gray lockers.) and again i did the same mistake, RCed to early got excited and lost my dream again. so again i ended up at stage 3 (relaxation) at this piont i noticed that the rythymatical ticking of my crappy ikea 1$ alarm clock stopped when i had this "daydream" during my WILD attempt. Also i noticed that as soon as i asked myself were the ticking noise went my dream started fading and i lost concentration. i couldn't concentrate enough for a third shot so i got angry, threw the alarm clock under my bed and slept the remaining 2 hours of the night.

So now that i finished this amazing WILD attempt story i would apreciate if some one could assist me and tell me if im doing this right.... or tell me how not too lose this "extremly vivid daydream" state in a WILD.. or better yet tell me if this "extremly vivid daydream" is what I am trying to achieve in a WILD. so if anyone could respond, after reading this that would be great. It would be nice if an expert who mastered the WILD technique could tell me if im on the right track.

O yea i didnt use capitals on the word i, not because i forget, or that i dont find the word i inportant.. its just that i have the smallest shift key imaginable on my laptop, and i have fat fingers
