      Yes, and visa versa.

Once my Guru appeared to me during a Vision and told me that even a few seconds of meditation in a dream is worth thousands of hours of waking meditation.

so perhaps there are more benefits to be had from the other direction, that is, that Dreams help with Meditation more than Meditation helps with Dreaming.

However, it may be symbiotic. I must admit, upon looking back, that I had no huge Dream Breakthroughs until after I had begun meditating and my work with the Kundalini and Tai Chi and all that.

It's not so much about all the spritiuality stuff with the funny chinese names as it is about the state you are in. It's not bound to a religion or some spritual orientation.

Well, no. it is not just a 'state'. There is a physiological component. Just look at what those people do. They don't just Meditate, but the Hindus have Yoga, the Sufis have their Dervish Practices and special Dancing, and the Chinese have their Tai Chi and Breathing Practices.

when one studies it, one finds that there are significant parallels between the Disciplines of Kundalini Yoga of India and the Tai Chi of China, which had developed in total independance of each other.

it would all indicate that there is a Spiritual Energy which does not simply come to the mind through some simple subjectivity. Some Physical Work seems to be involved and necessary.

There can be the Breathing Exercises and the Yoga Postures. We also have the Shaktipat Gurus, that is, we have the Energy Transferance from One Person to another... a sort of Passing of the Flame -- a Spiritual Initiation passed from Guru to Student. I have written essay upon how unaffiliated people can more or less 'steal' a Shaktipat Initiation. It all hinges upon a fact I had read about in one of the Upanisads -- "That in the presence of a God or Saint, the Agna Chakra will open". The 'Agna Chakra' is the Third Eye in the forehead. One can feel the Agna Chakra open as a slight sense of pressure -- a slight pressure sensation inside and above and between ones eye brows. All one needs to do is find an Effective "Saint". One looks for people whom one suspects of have Activated Kundalini or Chi Systems. Yoga Teachers. Kung Fu Masters. Gurus. That kind of Thing. One gets in the same room and aims one's forehead at them and sees if one can 'feel' anything. if the slightest sensation is felt, then that sensation should be held onto and meditated upon. One can go home, but one must keep one's attention upon that Pressure Sensation. Recalling that Sensation again and again and again, every day for the next couple of days should be enough to have it take a permanent hold. In such a way one can effectively 'steal' a Spiritual Initiation.

But then one needs to know what to do with it. There are several steps and compexities concerning this Energy which only the Masters know about, which would be difficult to guess about. But it is better to get initiated and not know, then to not be initiated at all.
