It's not possible to have a lucid dream as soon as you fall asleep when you're going to sleep at night, because you don't get into REM-sleep immediately, and you need this phase in order to dream. It is, however, very well possible to have a lucid dream without waking up first. A DILD doesn't require you to wake up before having it, unlike some other techniques like WILD and MILD, because in DILDs you realize you're dreaming during the dream itself. |
