Keep looking at your hands, until it feels totally like the real life. Don't look at them for 5 seconds and say "That's enough". Keep looking at them. Keep yelling "Clarity" and "I'm lucid!", until it feels real. Keeping your mind focused will prevent it, from wandering of I believe |

Longer lucids.
How can I make my lucid dreams longer. They are capped at about 20 seconds now. I have alright control. I just don't think clearly when im in them. Meaning.. i have looked at my hand and yelled increase lucidity and stuff. But then i walk away. For no reason. My mind wanders off. How can i prevent this.

another technique which works for some people is when you become lucid, take 4 slow deep breaths.
The theory is this helps calm you, getting too excited causes many people to wake up.
However when you are breathing, keep looking around. (could look at your hands at the same time as well)"we may accept dream telepathy as a working hypothesis." Stephen LaBerge, page 231 Lucid Dreaming 1985
