Questions (so far)

I've been reading your Seeker's quick start, the website descriptions as well as the FAQ, not with full attention so far, but there still are some questions that camed into my head. I'm not so much for ideas like reality check and stuff, I find this logical but still is there no way to dream lucidly and forget that you are dreaming it (one reality check at the beginning)? What's the difference between reality check and critical state check by the way? I had no lucid dream since joining here it's almost one day but I feel like some of your ideas are logical psychology about training the mind and have nothing to do with superpowers/energies or anything I don't belive in. I've heard people spoken of having many Ld's in one night. Now, the only ld's I remember, and I remember good were all one single dream - I'm having since a child and it grew up with me, like... like another dimension: it is more like - the same day that finishes in another life, "a live i could've had". I see none of what you call dream signs, like purple elephants, blue chickens and so on, the dream takes place in the same place I live in, mostly on the street from the front of my apartment which can be seen from my window. This is why I'm asking, what dreamsigns could I have got if I didn't wanted to belive is a dream and there were no dreamsigns to convince me that I was dreaming. Can you belive one night I spent with my girlfriend was in front of a burnt building/ruin in my city telling her the dream and that building is in my dream too. Well... the dream keeps showing and always takes place in my city (mostly on the street I've been telling you about by, not always at all). I wasn't yet able to apply the tricks you wrote about so far, but I know my purpose and I hope the LD's based on this ideas will go at it, and I hope I won't be having lucid dreamings with purple elephants and red chickens...or such, as you described. Is there anything I can do so that I'm sure I get where I want to? Hope haven't bothered you that much, and that you understood me.

      Farewell,

When the man is dreaming he is a god, when he thinks, is just a slave.
When the man is dreaming, he never doubts.

No difference - it's the same thing.

Lucid dreaming is something anyone can do. All it is is being aware that you're dreaming. No supernatural and mystical stuff here. However, there is a separate forum for things such as OBE's and astral travel called Beyond Dreaming.

Everyone has different personal dreamsigns. I'd say one of your common dreamsigns is the street in front of your apartment. Everytime you are in the street in front of your apartment, you should do a reality check. After practice, you will start doing reality checks in your dreams when you walk in front of your apartment - then your reality check works, and you're lucid!

Finally I missed my dreams but last night finally happend that I've got the old dream back. There's one problem... I can remember it prefectly, but how am I supposed to know it was a LD? It's true, while "inside" I was thinking this might be a dream (kinda` reality check). Does this make it what you call "LD"? It was the best dream I had in the last 200 years , it matters very less for me if it was an LD or not in comparsion to how much did matter the person I dreamt - my first girlfriend . The idea is that I haven't been even dreaming at her since two years when I she made me hate myself... so one more reason I'm not so sure this was an LD. Nither the location which is the current school I go at is in my dreams at all (I hate it!). Thanks for helping poor noob.
