Hrm. With the new forum still not entirely available, I can't access the Education Team board. I guess I'll post it here instead.
First off, anybody heard of the Cycle Adjustment Technique? It's mentioned in the Wiki article on LDing here, but we don't have a tutorial on it here at DV, and I've never heard it discussed.
Anyway, the basic gist of it for those that didn't read the Wiki page is that you condition yourself by waking up 90 minutes before normal until you begin to adjust to waking up at the earlier time. Then you vary your waking times so that some days you wake up normally, and some you wake up early. What it does is prepare your mind to emerge from sleep at a certain time, but on the days when you don't wake up early, you're still asleep when you begin to increase in consciousness. It sounds like it'd work quite well, but I've never tried it.
So, anybody ever given it a try? What were your results like?
I'll be trying it over the next few weeks, but first I have to acheive some semblence of a normal sleep pattern. And since the technique relies on conditioning yourself, which can take time, it'll probably be a month or more before I can really report any results, so it'd be preferrable if somebody else could share their experiences with it for now.
So, anybody ever tried it before? How did it work for you?

EDIT: BTW, just dug this up. Here's the origin of the technique, a post on The Lucidity Institute's forum.
