I had an odd DILD experience. I was sleeping on Saturday night, and as a senior High School student, I absolutely hated the thought of Mondays.

I dreamt that I was in Biology class, which seemed completely normal and realistic at the time. But then I realized that I still had not gone through the Sunday of my weekend, and I began to question why I was in Bio class on a Sunday.

I almost immidiately realized that I was dreaming. I decided to go to sleep within my dream to see how many layers I could go to. I got three, but that's besides the point.

My point is that I was able to realize that I was dreaming because before going to sleep, I had looked forward to a full day of doing nothing on Sunday. When I had ended up in school, skipping my Sunday experience, I was confused.

I hope this happens to me again, and I believe that I have found a method that I and others can use to have more frequent LDs.

Here's what I plan on doing:

1. Take a mental note of everything that I will be doing throughout my week.

2. Keep a very strong sense of date before going to sleep. I will remember the day that you are going to sleep in, and the day that I will wake up in.

3. Somehow question a dream that does not fit my schedule correctly, should I run across one. (Hardest step)

Worst case scenerio: I won't have any lucids, but I will at least be more organized throughout my week. Best case: I'll have lucids and be more organized as a student.

There's not that much work or effort involved anyway. Sounds like a win-win situation for me.

Let's see how this works out.
