Here's the thing: 2 summers ago (2004) during the end of july and the beginning of august I had the most intense LDs, and it was really easy to LD. I was using whatever techniques I knew, but it also came so naturally. I had 35 LDs during the August of 2004, there were maybe 3-4 nights when I had no LDs.

I dont remember much about August 2005, I've spent that summer at college and had to wake up early, so I didnt have much time to dedicate to LDing.

But this summer, it is the end of July again, and I can feel the same thing happening. I see my recurrent dreamsign almost every night and for the past week or so I had lucid experiences every night... Once again it comes almost naturally. There's this weird confidence that comes along with these LDs....

Anyone who been doing LDing for quite some time, did you notice the increase in LDing during some months of the year? Any similarity?

I can't wait till Summer! I find it is much better for me to remember and get close to becoming lucid during holidays and days with great weather. As summer has my favourite weather, I am going to bed less stressed during the good weather, and I go to sleep feeling great. Have you been falling asleep happy?

We have discussed seasons before but Thanks Ev for putting some substances behind the philosophy.

      There could be many factors.
I too have changes in Ld efficiency at different durations of the year.
I think the biggest part of it in my case is my work schedule.
      Other ideas could be;
      -Change in time zones
-More day or night depending on the season
      -temperature (during sleep)
-emotional changes ans state of mind that occur through season change --------Does this happen to more people than me?

Does your dream sign relate to a natural seasonal phenomena?

I started a topic with a poll about this a very long time ago, and there was some correlation between season and dreaming. I find that dreams are more vivid during winter months. Of course, I sleep without sheets in the summer sometimes because it gets that warm. In winter I get to tuck into multiple sheets and stay nice and warm.

Ev, how cold/warm is it during winter/summer for you?
humans are like sperm and heaven is their egg

"remember I will always love you / as I ..."

I live in the northeast US, and it's pretty hot here.

My dreamsign has nothing to do with seasons - it is a couple classrooms where I often find myself listening to some messed up lessons.

So there's some correlation between the seasons and the LDing ability... This may explain why we have dry spells and stuff :/
