I have been trying to do WILD; maintaining concious while your body falls alseep, landing you slowly into a dream conciously. My first attempts were miserable since my Dream Recall had been 0.

Now that my DreamRecal's better again I seem to be able to maintain concious for much longer before blacking out and falling asleep unconcious afterall while attempting WILD then before.

I thought of an interresting simple MP3 to play while falling asleep. A very simple one:
Perhaps with some very soft Ambience of Lucid Dreaming Mantras, Djembe percussion and Flute..something like that...very peacefull and earthly, but the Idea is: That in the Track a little Bell is rung every 15 Minutes: someting Subtle yet easily noticable while falling asleep. As you fall asleep with this ambience that Rings a bell every 15 minutes, you can simply start feeling yourself sinking into a deeper and deeper state of sleep everytime the bell rings. Hopefully, by focussing on the Bell and asociating it with staying concious and not Loosing it, it my prove a powerfull way to assist WILDs.

      This is the Idea:
The Track should be made so that it plays soft, distant, ambient sounds throughout the entire night..all the way till you wake up, and that from beginning to start the Bell Rings EVERY 15 Minutes.

This might be a good way to stay concious during WILD: You could use each Ring of the bell to remind you to Sharpen your attention and shake of any Abstract, Subconcious Hypnotising thoughts that may distract your attention from staying concious and lead you to fall unconcious by them.

Also you can count how much time you were able to remain concious after closing your eyes (and starting the MP3) If you can remember conciously hearing 5 bells it means ( 5X15 minutes) you remained Concious 1 hour and 15 minutes after closing your eyes. If the next night you Remember hearing 7 Bells That means you made a shitload of Progress see?

Guess it would a 15 Minute track that can be replayed Non-stop. One that Rings a tube bell, or something, every 15 Minutes and includes ambient sounds all the 15 minutes long: very soft, pleasant, Distant sounding and near silent Ambience .

If some one with Reason, or some other handy dandy MusicProgram think he/she can fix such a 15 minute ambient track, Answer in this Topic and let me know.

To me seeing how long your going to stay conscience for isn't really acheiving the goal and is the bell supposed to stop us from falling asleep? Because sometimes when I WILD I end up falling asleep within a few minutes. So 15 minutes wouldn't work for me.

I'm going to add on a little to the idea. Different time intervals between the bells would be good so people can pick the best one. Each time say, 5, 10, 15, 30 would be a different track. If people could download them all to a CD/MP3 Player they would be able to experiment with different times.

You could also use the Track as a RT timer, if you hear the bell do a RT and you might find yourself in a dream.

Great idea by the way, this would definetly help me from losing consceiness.

I can usually fall asleep with ambient music on, so I doubt that the gently ringing tubular bell sound would ekep me from fallinf asleep.

The only problem lately is: My Insomnia proves hard to tackle and Last Night was one of those Insomniac Nights again: 12 o'' clocl: To bed, 1, 2 ,3 o' clock... 03:38 still no sleep: After that I smoked a Fat Arse Joint and MAN I slept right away. I now have the feeling I remembered a vivid dream but then as if it's later in the day and already fading. No REAL recall: Seems like I'm JUTS out of reach of my Dream. But like I'm MUCH closer than before.

The comming night I'm going to get Ready for bed half past 11, so that hopefyllu I shall be sleepier by 12 o'clock. I hope the restlessness dissapears again. Cuz being so Sleep deprived it may be no wonder that when I finally DO fall alseep I fall into a waaay deep Sleep, too deep for lucidity and clearity.

      SO better luck next night.
