      Post

I do maybe 5 RC's a day on avg. I dont know if that helps much but anyway....

Before I go to sleep every night I always tell my self that I will have a lucid dream tonight. But usally that dosnt quite work for me that well but I do it any way. One day I thought that maybe it's not working because Im saying it at night and I dont go into alot of REM stages till the morning. Because I tend to wakeup frequently in the morning, about 1-2 hours before I normally wake up I'll get up for about 5-15 min and that whole time I'll tell my self that I will become lucid when I go back to sleep. Almost every time I have done this it works so I can almost have lucid dreams at will.

Hope this helps someone elese who wants to LD.

(note: It dosent work as well if your telling your self to have a LD when your half-asleep so I usally get up walk around and have a sip of water maybe go to the bathroom before I attempt it.)

Not a bad idea, i'll try it sometime. I usually do more like thirty RC's a day though, but I still struggle to have LD's. So far i've made most progress with the WILD method.

Adopted Megabenman although he disappeared a while ago.

I like the idea. I am gonna test it here in the coming weekend

I'll post my results here, or just PM you if the thread is dead.

This is already a method. It is called wbtb, or wake back to bed.

Yes, I know about WBTB, this is just my version of it. This way seems to work better for me that the traditional method, so I thought it might work better for others too.

Ok cool. Basically you stay up for only 15 min? rather than an hour?

This works for me as well. It usually gives me profound dream recall more than it does lucidity. I'll wake up around 4am, and get up for maybe half an hour, then go back to bed. When I wake up two hours later, I remember it like I was just watching a movie.
