      I fell asleep, and I was kinda talking to myself, hinking about lucid dreaming, and all of a sudden, I could hear, and almost feel drills against my teeth (I got my braces off yesterday, they use drill like things to clean the glue off the teeth), then I started seeing the ortho's hand reaching in my mouth, and this was all happening so quick, and I think "Hey, I was already at the ortho.....THIS IS A DREAM!" and then as I realized it, my eyes shifted, and everything went away.


      ARGH!

      Don't worry about it. It's happened to me every time i've gone into an LD so far, I think it's because I get excited, so just try to stay calm.

      Adopted Megabenman although he disappeared a while ago.

      Don't worry! It was only your first LD - you can't expect to have an epic dreaming sequence during your very first one! More control and awareness will only come with practice.

      Congrats on the LD - even if it was short - it's still a breakthrough!

      heey, sorry to burst your bubble, but that might not have been a lucid dream.
      it was probably just the HI before you go into your dream, and you mistook it. next time it happens, you should stay calm and not focus too much on it, and wait for a bit before trying to think of it as a dream, just know that you're still dreaming, if that makes any sense
      as i was falling asleep last night, i said to myself, i will remember my dream, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid. then i saw dinosaurs running at me and i said, "Holy Crap! i wish i was dreaming!"
