A long time ago, I got really into lucid dreaming. I would spend every night concocting ways to have lucid dreams, and eventually I got to a point where I had a lucid dream every night. I progressed and progressed until I had ultimate control of my dreamscape, I was a complete god in my dreams.

At that point, it became boring, and all summer I have simply abandoned lucid dreaming. I am finally ready to come back. But now, I realize that I have to re-learn everything I did last year. I don't even recall any of my dreams anymore. Usually this has just left me frustrated and bored. If I have already done everything in my dreamscape, what is there left?

I do have alot of new dream goals now, but I'm not sure how to attain them. (for instance, after I had attained almost complete control of my dreams, I desired to create an entire planet and create a race of sentient beings on it, but I never got around to it)

Where do I begin? All of my old methods no longer work because I associate them with boredom. I need something new, something exciting to get my blood flowing.

Whoa man ... you just blew my mind!!!!

A Dream Planet with Sentient Beings!! My God Man!!! We are in Gods Dream!!! Oh wow!!

Here is an idea when you get around to fulfilling your dream: Once you've created your Sentient Beings, teach them to become Gods of their own world! Therefore so that they too can make Gods in THEIR dreams. Maybe you are forgetting a theory here: Perhaps the dream Characters are already sentient? I'm fairly new to this Lucid Dream Scene so maybe you know from personal experience that the Dream People are not sentient? Or perhaps they are real but not 'sentiently' real yet?

BTW Have you delved into the WISDOM of the Dream World?

      what are you talking about?

I would create them for my own amusement, they would be products of my own brain. Like everything else in a dream they woudl be illusions. Dream charachters are like puppets to us, we simply generate them, and our mind moves them about. No dream charachter is sentient, its simply our brain making them do what we think they should be doing.

I think though, creating an entire planet and a species in a dream would be extremely exhillerating, especiallyif I could zip through their entire history and watch them develop.

However, such a feat would have to be reserved for a true dream master, someone who has so much control over their brain that they can think up such a thing and not get distracted. Right now I can't even recall dreams anymore, let alone even get into a lucid one. I'm definatley getting ahead of myself here.

But since I've already learned how to control dreams before, doing it this time around shouldn't be too difficult (once I get into a reliable routine that provides me with lucid dreams)

I would say that the only "wisdom" in the dream world is your own. You can find wisdom in the dream world by exploring your own thoughts, and learning your own feelings about things. Because you are not connected to the waking world, there are no distractions to keep you from harnessing the creativity and brilliance of your own mind and emotions, and in that way dreaming can be very therapudic, especially lucid dreaming.

That's an amazing dream goal!! keep us posted on how successful you are. My dream goals are usually like, complete this months DV task, or re-enact the action scenes in Die Hard! Now that seems completely pointless and pathetic. it's a shame you lost your talent, good luck with the re-learning.
