Last night I attempted WILD (beginning of the night) and I got to the point where I was in the dream, except this lasted for only a few seconds. I dreamt that I was trying to get up from laying down on my bed, but there was so much pressure on my body and the dream was so unstable that I couldn't do it and the dream quickly faded. Does anyone know how to counter these effects? I have tried WILD many times and this has happened.

Whenever I attempt WILD, I almost never get SP and HI. The most HI I get is flashes of dots and spirals, nothing vivid at all. If I do get in the dream, it is with a lapse of consciousness in between.

As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.

From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.

Well for me, I sometimes get lucky. I'm the person that doesn't experience HI or SP and I do get a lapse of consciousness, so I'm kinda passive about the whole thing. It is a big step, but the "dream only lasts for like five seconds. Don't be so focused on the hypnagogic imagery, just watch it passively. And make your body completely relaxed. It is very difficult, I don't even know how I do it sometimes.
