Yes, he probably dreams of Cowboys and Indians every night -- childhood dreams. He supposes he is Lucid, but we have no idea what he considers 'control' to be. So this challenge was meant to stretch him a bit.

I started off empathising with qwikjus, simply because Leo did respond in an unnecessarily harsh way at first, and because I'm loath to side with Leo being arrogant and aggressive as he is. However I fiond that Leo's right in at least a few ways: I do find it annoying when people post '100% success' methods (because no method is absolutely successful in itself, and usually any of these apparent ones are much less effective than simply MILD&#33 and I do find it annoying when people don't even bother to write properly, considering how little effort it takes.

It didn't help that qwikjus decided to precipitate a flame war either.

So, I'm going to have to go with Leo this time, and I'd like to see this sonnet.

He means it worked 100% for HIM. Not so sure about the rest of us.

I always enjoy reading peoples new ideas, because it keeps me thinking about LDing, and sometimes helps with ideas of my own. I agree that no method is 100%. But surely anything that helps in any way is good...

I'll adapt some of these methods and see if it helps with my LDing, thanks for the tip ^^

Did you check when Kaniaz joined? Briefly, it was before the age-15 rule was established, so if you would like, then feel free to look up ex post facto. Any why shouldn't we enforce the age rule? It's there for a reason. (But I decline to continue the discussion in this post; PM me if you wish to say more.)

I think Raylin said it best, though that it does get rather old hearing the "best technique ever" title being strewn about. Verbal/auditory affirmations are effective when attempting to gain lucidity, but the amount of time it may take to be effective varies from person to person and isn't necessarily the key to achieving it. It's about motivation, will power, desire, and usually just plain hard work.
