Most people do not become lucid in dreams because they are basically 'asleep' when they are awake. What I mean is: the more lucid you become during you wake state (by continually doing RCs and other of the like) the more you will become lucid during your dreams.

Become familiar with your dreams (for example a DREAM SIGN for me is that if I ever have loose teeth - I'm definately asleep - know what YOUR dreams usually encompass/have in them.)

The more you ask youself if you are asleep while awake (don't make this become passive - 'yeah...I'm awake' {become AWARE OF YOUR AWARENESS!!!! } then the more you will 'pass it on'/have it transfer to your dream 'habits'...

Some things depend on the person, just try a few techniques (or all of them) for longer than a week or a month before saying 'this doesn't work' - if it works, it'll take longer than a week on average
