well before you read this let me says that this technique only limit is your imagination. their is three essentail idea to this technique which are memory palace or memory of loci, hypnosis and finally thought these are easy to understand but difficult to accomplish without imagination and when you get the hang of this then lucid dreaming becomes easy.

Memory Palace
This is the hardest part to grasp but with imagination and time to get familiar it can be mastered. the memory of loci or ars memorie can be dividend into three stages visual, landscape then palace the only thing stopping you from learning this would be practice. first of visual images say you wanted to remeber a shopping list e.g. 1.eggs 2. milk 3.potatoes 4.garlic 5.wine 5.curry 6.DVD 7.CD 8.book 10.carrot 11.clothes 12.playing cards 13.video game 14.scissors 15.beer if you try and remeber this dry written piece of information you would proberly do this verbally i.e. speaking out word in your head intill you learn but then about 3 minuate later wait it gone do this see if you remeber it and write it down on a piece of paper if you do it try it in order or backward most likely you will fail. now just imploy the awesome power of mnemonics by basically using your imagination and visualiation e.g. instead of a egg imagine a massive repulsive egg all cracked a rotten with a dead bird head popping out then imagine pouring milk into a boul but instead a ton of egg fall out and then trying to eat cereal but it potatoes and your trying to eat it but it repulisive and sick with milk drench on it. i can go on but the point is instead of trying to remeber things as least remeber thing with imagination and vividness try to picture the most beautifle, horrible, scary, elegant e.t.c. situation and i mean really picture and remebering will become easy.

This method has flaws if you forget one it all falls apart so now we are going to bring the idea of visualiation across but add another factor landscape we can all remeber our way round the house the way to school/work e.t.c. we are going to use the idea of a journey e.g. say i wanted to remeber my biology stuff i would imagine a journey let say walking home at the most significant places i would put visualiation let say one at a round about the next going up a hill i would stick what i want to remeber in order then go throught journey from beginning to end remeber key location and visualiation. basicially it just remebering a journey maybe outside or inside putting visualiation in a fixed point then when you want to remeber something go throught it again.

Now last but not least memory palace the best way to build one is to use imagination with realworld say 50/50 say you could use your big hall or even outside as main part but the say a door in your house when open your in a imagine location filled with wide open space elegant art surround it the you walk see first visualiation then maybe turn a corner see next so on. every journey is connected by a door to one place or branches of at a main place. at the beginning it best to start small with one real world journey connected to a main part then keep on adding real world journey intill you run then combine real world with imagination intill you go fully into imaginary journey. when creating a new journey make sure go throught it vividly intill it become like breathing also always go back and occassional check journey to reawake them so they dont fade away not that they will.

Hypnosis
now hypnosis is the easy part of this technique for ten minaute or less depend before going to sleep just imagine yourself in memory palace with sole intent of shutting of real world this should be done by laying with eyes open in a lit room and just blank everything from the real world out then you should try your hardest to imagine memory palace is vibrate and vivid with all the lights texture e.t.c. you should try to see it like it is their in front of you ignoring your body of course your aim is shut you mind from body so your basically free from body to do this just use your imagination but make it vivid e.g. my favourite thing is to look at a lake and make it vivid with the water jolting and crashing like a cubisms painting with fantastic colour.

Thinking
this may be the most demanding but easy to accomplice with practice. now most people thinking use what is called verbal langauge however for this to work you will have to change it so you say your inner mind equal memory palace for this to work you have to loosen your grip on verbal thought and enhance it with visual and imagination say when your talking to someone instead of thinking what their saying you could imagine what their saying increasing the vividness with everyword the point is quoted from Einstein "imagination is more improtant then knowledge" try and build on your imagination skill and apply to memory palace.
now the easy part when you have done all three the only thing you have to do is combined all three idea when going to sleep you can start of hypnosis idea then onto memory palace by imaging going throught it with no attension given to body then add idea of taking what you percieve and imaging it more this will become easy if you practice enough.

Lucid dreaming
now to become lucid is pretty easy with practice and knowing a trick. before going to sleep try to memorize something. the key to getting into dream is by reliving the journey and other whilst going to sleep by visualizaing walking through it and other journey. if you do this instantly your notice that the level of difficulty increase dramatically from waking hours at this stage if try and recal journey they would become more fragmented, hazy and random worse of your thoughts become random weird voices, jumpy HI appear
and bogy sensation try and create comfusion and then finally lack of consciousness to get into lucid dream you will have to battle this which is easy with this trick. their are two ways to combat this which is to silence
i.e. no sound or verbal thought in head and just carry on with memory technique or you can use music to combat this i.e. imagine classical or techno music by focusing on say beethoven ninth music and playing this as loud as the voices in your mind so you cant here them and then keep on with memory and imagination technique also i dont mean physically listen to music from headphones. doing this you are free to leave you consciousness and memory intact intill HI appear when this happen your memory journey would become more real and vivid and if you dont freak out then just keep doing memory technique and then your enter the dream. also when you see HI try and ground them by treating them like you would the object in memory so you can move toward them. the simplest example i can remember would be imagining walking past a lake this occur in one of my memory journey and then it suddenly turn bright and jumped out at me like you will see normal object if this happen then you are near your dream which happen to me i saw the water like any real object so i quickly jumped in it then something really strange happen and then i was in dream.

p.s. when you practice this try and include all sense and also movement if you do this add realism to dream when it occurs also if you do this method dont do lazy man technique. also remeber that your brain cannot become tired so if you feel like it impossible or take up too much energy just rely more on your imagination like the hypnosis thing or imaging yourself in memory palace it called dissiacoation e.g. if you hurt your hand distracting mind away from it will get rid off pain so when you try this technique and feel mentally tired instead of abadoming it focus your mind on imagination or memory palace to get rid off tiredness this fact is the reason i not sleeping because i was up to 3am and also need a nap because of waking up 7am and how i managed to walk to school. well then if you want to understand what i mean better then try typing these in google Thomas Harris Hannibal lecter uses something like this but more chaotic and organised, Boris sidis theory of mind, alot from memory technique, Picasso, Raymond Rousells, Herclitus Flux and postmodernism or just use your imagination.
