you mean hypnogogic imagery? just use your imagination! get real tired and relaxed, and stay still in your bed. then just make up a scene in your mind.

i am getting good at using HI, like they said just relax and stay still and try and think of something in your mind. i can create dream scenes from high, but not total dreams yet. the scenes exist, and even have color/vividness but no characters in them. also when i see them its like a first person view. i can see the scene, but i can't see myself in it.

i might try creating a character, and see if i can add it into the scene. if i focus on the hi, it seems to become more vivid fairly quick. the weird thing is, i can see/create hi with or without my eyes being closed. i seem to be able to see/create it almost at will, and can even effect certain things like color/motion of it with a lttle effort.

just practice a bit, and it will get easier and easier. it took me a bit of practice, but then it got much easier. it might be a bit harder for ya, i think it is easy for me because i am a fast learner. just keep trying and don't give up, and you will be able to do it with some time..

My results: went to bed at 11:20, and lay there trying to think up scenes for 3 hours, to no avail. i'm going to need a looooott of practice.
