Now I've only tried it twice so far and it has worked. I think you may need good dream recall in order to even notice it happened. When I did this method I had the most vivid dreams and usually end up getting to choose if I want to become lucid. (I don't do reality checks) One dream I still remember from this day is a dream that was outlined in a movie and at the end I ended up moving out of the character in the movie and as a character who was watching it.

Just yesterday I started doing LDing again. I did my method and requested to see two people in real life and in my dream I seen them. One was a main character and another would've been a main character if I didn't wake up. I briefly seen the character and then my mind told me to go towards them and I was about to interact with them.

Ok now to the method...note I'm not sure if this is already a method but I found this out with the help of reading about the subconscious mind.

      Steps:
      1. Have good dream recall
      2. Before going to sleep have a strong desire to lucid dream (I mean a real burning desire for it to happen, I can usually do this easily but I'm not sure if it varies person to person)
      3. After you can do the same for everything else you want in that dream
      4. Replay that same thought a few times with your eyes close and just relax
      5. You should fall asleep and end up inside the dream that you desired (If you waked up and didn't dream yet fall back to sleep)

The burning desire for whatever it is, is crucial because it has to do with you requesting from your subconscious mind. Try it and tell me if it worked for you.

I know what you mean, it sounds like it already exists though: VILD.

I have tried these sort of techniques, and all that ever happens to me is this: I can visualize my scenario etc for a while, but eventually my mind wanders and I go to sleep, and then I don't go into dream state, unless it's part of a WBTB, even then I just dream something else.

Do you think you could help me Astral Explorer?
